Though there is an artistic tendency in my family, I didn’t take advantage of it until I retired from working as a retail clerk in a stationery store. A friend got me started with stained glass and thenI progressed to warm glass … that is heating glass in a kiln to mold and shape it.
That opened up a whole new world of possibilities.
I am fortunate enough to currently work part-time in a local stained glass store. This allows me unending inspiration from the colors and textures that give glass a life of its own.
