The Kamloops Courthouse Gallery - Membership
The Kamloops Courthouse Gallery is an artist-run cooperative featuring works of local artists and artisans. All pieces must be the original, hand-produced work of the artists and members are chosen for originality and diversity of their work. There is a $100 initiation fee and then $20 per month rent plus 20% of any sales. Members can set up a separate booth at Co-op hosted shows for a reduced rate (20% less than non-members with no commission charged), or remain in the gallery gift shop, sharing in work and display space. All members are expected to work in the gallery two times per month and contribute to the running and promotion of the gallery and any cooperative events.
