Pat completed a three year fine arts course and, while raising a family, worked from home creating pastel and oil portraits, pen and ink sketches of historical buildings and farm scenes featuring draft and Canadian horses. As well, she illustrated personal interest stories for both the French and English daily newspapers in Sherbrooke, Quebec. She has exhibited at Man and His World, Montreal; Carleton University, Ottawa; and Sherbrooke University.
Her style is realistic, influenced by the people, the culture and the art of the many places she has lived from Newfoundland to British Columbia. Upon moving to BC in 1982, she took up pottery, sculpture and watercolour painting. In 186 she returned to work in healthcare, retiring in 2003 and moving to Kamloops.She is looking forward to resuming pottery, sculpture and artwork.
